These were hard to paint.
I still feel like I can improve the color and texture.  These were from a photo, but next time I'll bake my own.

It is so interesting to actually observe the color inside a lime.  It is not the "lime green" that we would think.

Painting fruit is fun, especially with all the highlights on the pips.  I was hungry for that taste by the time I was done and went out the the grocery store to buy some.

Good thing I took this photo when I did.  My daughter came over and used half of this the next day, for a garlic and olive oil sauce for turkey.

Day 3 Fail

On day 3 of daily painting, I really disappointed myself.  I am having a hard time with the "alla prima ", painting wet on wet with oils.  I am thinking of painting from the same photo tomorrow, but with acrylics.  Wish me luck!

Apple A Day

Day 2 of "Daily Painting".  I had fun painting the apple in a much looser style than normal.  I am not used to trying to paint "wet on wet" in oils, so it was frustrating at times.

Nail Art

.

Had a great day today with a friend getting my nails done at a local salon, then lunch and shopping.  I also decided to attempt some daily painting after reading the book Daily Painting" by Carol Marine.
